Partnerships
DGNED is Indonesia’s window to the world for export development and has developed excellently in identifying new markets and opportunities overseas for producers which are capable of meeting the requirements of the markets. As a non-profit government agency, DGNED provides all of its services free of charge.
The service from Directorate General of National Export Development is summarized into four topics of activity (1) Market Information, (2) Product Development, (3) Export Promotion, and (4) Export Assistance.
BEDO and DGNED (previously NAFED) have been starting to collaborate since 2011 to work together for Export Coaching Program (ECP) for the small medium entrepreneur mainly for Home Décor sector.
And also collaborate together in export promotion for international expo or trade fair such as Remarkable Indonesia in Vietnam Life Style 2012 and it will be continuing with other program for SMEs in identifying and penetrating overseas markets for their products. This is achieved through providing market research information and relevant advice.
BEDO and CBI have been working together since 2008. With time, this relationship has deepened and has grown to create a join ECP program for local and international market (check out our training page). CBI stimulates and supports economic activities that are sustainable, socially responsible and environmentally sound.
BEDO and Ika Butoni have been working together since 2006. With time, this relationship has deepened and has grown started with success collaborated to organize workshop at Bali Fashion Week 2008.
Since 2003,
Ika Butoni has grown tremendously. The range now includes a men’s wear collection, with the increasing
demands for more designs.They have always
wanted to be creative and different in every approach to being artistic and with their design
philosophy: “To always inject creativity
into design”. Fortunately, most of Ika's collections
have been well received.
Indonesia Business Link (IBL) is a non-profit foundation and it was established in the wake of the Indonesia economic crisis. A major aim of the organization is to contribute towards the creations of sound and ethical business practices in the country. The organization is an affiliate of the Price of Wales International Business Leaders Forum (known also as PW-IBLF or IBLF).
IBL has been actively promoting ethical business practices in Indonesia through its two major types in activities, namely, workshops on business ethics and capacity building of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Initial funding for its activities was provided by its founding member companies as well as UNDP and DfID. Funding from the latter was arranged through PW-IBLF which is the international partner of IBL.
BEDO has been collaborating together with IBL since 2009 when they launch CSR program for business. And this year we are refresh our partnership program to promoting ethical business practices in Bali with workshops on business ethics and capacity building of SMEs for BEDO members and BEDO networking.
IALF stand for Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF) is a non-profit organisation committed to providing high quality education and training services throughout Indonesia and the Asia Pacific region.
The main activity of the IALF is the teaching of languages: English and Bahasa Indonesia.
IALF & BEDO launch as partnership since August 2012. We are starting our collaboration for The General English Programs for BEDO staff and BEDO members staff to develop their skills in English.
We also collaborate in The Bahasa Indonesia program consists of intensive and specialized courses for BEDO Internship Program. IALF offer an attractive package for both of the program to BEDO.
TigerTrade is a business-to-business website that helps firms leap into global markets. We provide buyers and suppliers around the world with the opportunity to explore and build durable, trusted business relationships. With a global headquarters in New York City and an office in Jakarta, Indonesia, TigerTrade is focused on connecting businesses in Indonesia with international partners. Currently, TigerTrade works in the apparel, textiles, footwear, furnishings, and home accessories industries.
Global Sources is offering this series of Developing Country Sourching Reports as part of its corporate social responsibility undertaking in partnership with The Kearny Alliance, a non-govermental development organization whose mission is Aid Through Trade.
The aim is to give international buyers new sourching opportunities from experienced exporters, generating orders and create lasting jobs in developing economies.
That's why BEDO & Kearny have been working together to help SME's and BEDO member's since 2010.
BEDO and Bali Creative Community have been working together since 2008. Its mission is to develop, empower and sustain the role of creative industries as one of major contributors in Bali's economic growth and establish Bali as a showcase to the world for Indonesia's creative industry.
VSO and BEDO have been working together since 2008. They have come together to work on the same social program: Defabled people. BEDO and VSO are working on the issue of economic empowerment, supporting people with disabilities to find formal or informal employment so they can become independent members of society.
